Comedian from Punk'd and Paul Blart: Mall Cop to call our show tonight
Steve Ranazzisi
As the "always ripping on Paul Blart" pen salesman in the movie Paul Blart: Mall Cop, to Punk'd and comedy clubs like The Comedy Store in LA, Steve Ranzzisi is a rising star in movies and the comedy circuit and tonight he will be calling our Radio Show.
Steve is in town to perform at Zanies in Chicago tonight, Zanies St. Charles tomorrow night and Zanies in Vernon Hills on Saturday night. Click on the Zanies link to get show time and ticket information.
Catch our interview tonight as we find out abut Steve's rise at The Comedy Store from answering the phones, to checking ID's at the door, cleaning up the vomit in the men's room and finally graduating to the stage...who ever said the road to comedy success is paved with gold has never set foot in a men's restroom at a comedy club, or at a baseball park...but I digest.
Keep checking for Steve's new movie Homewrecker...coming soon.

A Comedy Show Success
Last Friday was the first ever Round Lake Rounders comedy show at the Round Lake Beach Cultural Center and I must unequivocally say a good time, and a successful show, was had by all.
The success of this event may bring even more comedy shows to Round Lake. Admission was only $10 and soft drinks were provided for free (of course this may be subject to change) but the point is is that there was 2 hours of inexpensive comedic entertainment, with comedy-club caliber performers, for way less than it would cost you to drive in to the city or go to a somewhat-local comedy venue.
We were there of course to support the advent of local comedy and to record the show for future broadcasts on the Improv Comedy Show on WRLR every Thursday from 7-8pm on 98.3 FM.
For now, the show in its un-edited version is available by clicking here (click on the Improv Comedy Show link. Look for more great things to come from our show's involvement in the promotion of and advancement of comedy here in Lake County.

I wish the buck stopped here. I could use a few.
